Hey everyone, noticed around forums (throught people getting blamed or angry) and in the game through helping friends *looks at nims* that some people have issues with deciding what reforges they need or what enchants will best suit them or even what spec to use (one point in a spec can mean all the diffrence...TREE POWA!!!!)

So to aid our small minds that are so confused by all this mathematical crap involved with DPS I have decided to list any available Information i know about places you can find your priorities (Str then hit etc) or software/websites that will locate your next gear piece or optomize (get the best out of what you have) your gear be it for DPS or tanking.

Rawr Program/http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow - these two (the first is a downloadable program) allow you to upload your character from the armoury then activate the upgrade or optomize button this will tell you what gems and enchants to change as well as allowing you to get new specs generated. Of the two i would recomment the website due to an easier Interaction experience and less complication (Rawr requires the setting of stats buffs etc).

http://elitistjerks.com/forums.php - Many will be aware of this already, but Elitist Jerks is one of the most comprehensive sites i have found that will tell you rotations and Stat priority (read them tho or you will miss stats such as Expertise *nims *) Follow there advice and you will generally be steered onto the right path, used with the software above this will allow you to generally get the most from your spec and gear.

http://www.gotwarcraft.com/guides -  Another comprehensive site (albiet incomplete in some sections) this site helped me to resolve stat confusions for my warrior (MANIAC!!!:taz:) I highly recommend this site to anyone confused and not wishing to use elitist (for what ever reason)

edit: Expertise for rogues is neglectable according to elitist jerks so no blame on me for that stat

I've been reading the rogue section at elitist jerks for about 1.5hrs and did some theorycrafting and reforged everything. I changed my stats drastically according to what elitist says and everything should be in order now. They've got a whole list of the caps on every stat that i should get and i've reached all ( or at least almost )  of them so i'm looking forward to the next raid and hopefully the changes i made will turn out as good as expected.

I tend to dislike optimizers.

I ran my warlock through Mr Robot and it decided that the best cause of action was to re-forge and re-enchant around replacing my +hit (standard cata mats) on bracers with +haste (2 mael crystals == expensive). A quick calculation of the mat cost was about 3k and the end result about about 100 or so points on their scale. So not all that much.

In this under-optimised gear, I out-dpsed by 2.5k a couple of destro locks in BH25 (I'm affliction, which sims a lot lower in tank + spank fights) who had moa phat purplz (damn you TL making me say that) without even trying on my laggy work laptop. I pulled almost 17k dps for reference.

We are a PRO casual raiding guild. The pro bit means know your class and spec. Justify your non cookie cutter talent picks.
This is especially important in 10mans because there is less room for error.

TL;DR: Bring the player, not the class nor the gear - it also help if warlocks place Dark Intent buff on Shadow Priests as it's the best rDPS gain and self DPS gain

lol, I use Rawr by 2 years.
 dont think that it is infallible, it is very convenient, but ultimately misses the reforging .. at least for my mage ...
 the experience and skills of a good player, are irreplaceable.
