Sorry, too lazy to copy, paste and edit.

The big thing to note is that curent Normal Raid content is being nerfed by 20%, this is to allow lesser players to gear up. Current Heroic Raid wont be nerfed though so the hard stuff wil lstill be there for those that want it.

The other big change is all VP changing to JP. Gear will change too. again, easier gearing up for fresh content.

One more note. I'm not sure about the new "cc no longer creates aggro". As far as I can see, this means when a cc runs out the mob will target the healer instead of the cc caster, which could prove bad.

What do you think?

What I can make out of the CC part, is that (for example) before a trash  pull, a mage polymorphs a mob, in current state, all the  non-polymorphed mobs are agroed and head for the mage (usualy the tank  picks them up before that happens). In patch 4.2 you should be able to  poly a mob, without agroing the rest of the pack.
When CC wears off they should attack the nearest target (hopefully  tank), but indeed I can imagine they go for the healer instead (they  usualy do now as well).

The Pet Agressive stance thingy is quite nice imo (PvE standpoint, guess it'll suck big time for PvP).
Now I sometimes struggle to get my pet to attack the target I'm  attacking. Usualy 1st target is ok, but then the pet just goes for  someone else instead of attacking the target I'm attacking. So I hope  the "Assist Stance" will work out well. But PvP wise (not that I like  pvp in the first place) it propably will suck, because Agressive stance  was ideal for getting those nasty stealthy rogues/druids before they ...  well... gank the **** out of you.

Hunter traps scale with stats: Hmmm, you mean like, those snakes actualy will do some damage now? or the fire actualy will hurt?
In current state immolation trap damage kinda sucks, and snake traps  well they bite as if they've got no teeth lol (yeah they inject poison,  but a common cold causes more missery than those snake bites).

And Valor to JP...guess I'll have to keep my JP a bit then, was planning on "wasting" them on stuff like shards and such.
But does mean I finally can get a bit of decent gear for a few of my  chars. I've been doing a few HC's, but not the ZA/ZG ones because I dare  not do them in a pug with my current gear and Im not able to do raids  unfortunatly.

(my post took to long and got a time-out on the forum, hopefully it won't double post)
You should not fear the dark itself...but what\'s in it!

Completely in line with Blizzard wanting to let a lot of players enjoy every aspect of the game. Since a lot of the new tier gear will be purchasable by new tokens from the new quest hub, these fights will become even more easier.
I did not expect such a big nerf next to the new gear, to be honest.

This was announced before Cataclysm, so no surprise for me and in line with above.

As far as I know, it means that CC-ing a mob will not create aggro at all. The (first) CC will not be the pull. The order of CC-ing will become less important. The hunter does not have to CC first, since mobs will not start moving after the first CC.
