DMR's intrepid raid team ventured deeper into the Firelands raid instance tonight and hammered out a solid, repeatable strategy for defeating Alysrazor in record time.  The kill was very smooth, no panics, no battle rez needed, no tanks screaming for more healing, just a nice smooth fight with a kill just before the end of the third cycle.

Congratulations to the loot winners!  Next Tuesday, DMR will cross the bridge into the fortress and meet Majordomo Staghelm, guardian of the entrance to the final Firelands raid boss, Ragnaros.

It actually turned out to be remarkably simple once we had understood the mechanics.  It's described as a 4 phase fight, but as with the comments in some of the guides, it's defintely a 2 phase fight and a pretty simple one at that.  Of the fights we have seen so far, assuming you make the DPS hurdle then I'd say it's as easy as Shannox and easier than Rhyo & Beth.  Bizarrely, our last two kills actually seem the most stable & repeatable:  Baleroc & Alysrazor.  I expect both will be pretty much a one-shot from here on in.  We two-shot Baleroc again last night (first try had a small error at 5%) and used 11 pulls to learn and then defeat Alysrazor last night.

Strangely, Domo is beginning to look similar, one of those fights that has a lot of text in the info but actually boils down to something far easier.

The kill maked sure we are now ranked 23 of the server.
And ranked 15 of the server for 10 man raiding.

As Ice said it was also a really fun fight compared to some. Especially flying around in circles getting 200% Haste and 75% Crit
