RGW - review

Well as the title says, im gonna review whats going on atm.

Attendance:
Going for a 3rd day started very well, and is a thing we should keep doing while recruiting some more.
The current reason they get called is lack of tanks, we have 1 that shows up basicly everytime but we have 2 that cant make it sunday, this means we need to recruit one, obviously Sharpfang(and maybe treach) start bawwing about getting another tank, while I think: hey show up yourself or dont baww(hardly said its basicly what happend to me in RGT).

However we hope to sort it with a dps/tanky DK and a ele/enh shaman would be a nice add on.

Calendar Invites:
those get ignored sometimes, when the group grows I will push those more, however atm we dont have the luxery(is that spelled oke?) to bench people for that reason.

Raids:
Lets start negative, just because I like that :devil:.
Preperation:
People need to show up more on the forums and come with ideas to solve problems, last I asked for people to say something and except for Switch I got a reply from Garrit....not really RGW is he.
Breaks:
Shorter breaks(5min max), people just wont be back in time, lolwut, while we even let people grab something to drink during raids...

DPS:
hmm biggest issue is right here I guess, I feel like that our dps is lower then RGT, we need an average of 30 seconds longer for every bossfight(except Beth, I just noticed. I compared last wednesday and thursday). meaning us healers have to push more heals.
Last time on ALyszor, Pals was doing like 5k dps, she said it was during lag, and interrupts, but even then?

Movement:
hm, people take alot of time to learn a fight, alot of people get hit by fire(alyszor for example) which concers me.

Healers:
hm, well healers are oke atm, Darthdrew is a bit...strange...less then Canaan thougth lol. he seems to adjust very well and is a nice guy to talk with, little bit less on the understanding part I think.
Lynx, single now so should show up even more hehe, one of the ppl that ignores invites...told him many times, but he will listen, I swear!
Moonslash, good healer, obviously little bit less good then Jas but who can win from Jas right...
Dreaman, obviously the best healer in the guild, drags many groups/raids througth hard points and should actually get payed for what he does.

RLers:
Well I know from myself I can be a B*tch, and be it alot. I am obviously not the RL that says: ohh this aint working, try this or this and this, I just dont know classes/spells enough for that, and I certainly dont want to know all those.
Moonslash: IMO, he should be like my right hand, giving him some time to "practise", but what I notice now is lack of vocal, I had it aswell at the start, hard thing for me now is to just shut up and see where it goes, I most of the time take over when I think/notice Moonslash isnt saying anything.
Sithy, alot of absence, has trouble doing his own tactics let alone control others.

Anyway, I know I can criticize(spellcheck) others very well, but I can take it aswell, so if anything bothers then tell me plx.

I'll try to respond in order:


It seems to me that 80% of the raid wants a third day.  Tanks need to adjust and we need to recruit if they will not.  Offer one of them a dps spot when they are not needed as a tank and tell them to get used to the rotation as the majority want three nights per week.  If they can't handle it then the logical conclusion is to replace them.  Tough, but fair.

Calendar problems resolve themselves when you have a queue as you sit people who do not respond.  I'd ignore it for the moment (other than a verbal prod to remember to do it) and implement it hard when there is a queue.  The rules are on the forum already iirc so you have  the authority to do it.

Queues:
The majority of the DPs issues, movement issues etc change when you have queues for the raid.   Queues are good and RGT has got used to swapping in and out and it works.  It 's the way progress guilds raid, take what does the job and if someone cannot then swap them out to the queue.

DD seems fine.  He talks funny (he's a Scot after all) but his heart seems to be in the right place.  If he picks things up quickly then that's a positive bonus.  Overall healers seem not too bad from what I see.

Sith I'm afraid is not showing up enough to have any sort of role.  

Pleased to hear Moonslash is finding his feet if not his voice.  Did you want to make a promotion formal?  This might give him the authority to feel he can speak up in a raid?  If you want, we can have a group chat to explain what is needed and to check he is up to speed with what is expected.

Major thing I see is recruitment.  You need:
-1 more tank that can definitely make Sundays
-1 more healer
-NO MORE MELEE dps (unless you are replacing someone - 3 is enough especially if you use a melee dps spot to placate a tank occasionally)
-1 or 2 more ranged dps (RGT manage with 4 ranged but 3 are just about 100% attendance - RGW only has 1 with 100% attendance, so I reckon you need more than RGT carry and we usually carry 5)

Recruitment, recruitment, recruitment.   I'm spamming the macro a couple of times each day, but I never see it spammed by anyone else.  We need more people spamming it so that the message gets out.

About Moonslash, Ill just take this Wednesday and tell MS that I wont open my mouth unless he wants me to. Thats for a starter after that we can see what else we need to chat about.

Well Vladic is out, dunno for how long. Nims isnt showing up this entire week, did I miss something???

ye im spamming it aswell, 1 more warlock and/or Ele shammy would be nice, sorry for vanguish but its his work that buggers him+ I think he can get more out of his Lock.
