Server Crashes

Guys,

Just to let you know..

On Friday night I logged a support ticket at Multiplay. This was in regards to our BC2 server crashing yet again.. Twice on Friday while I was on it. I'm still waiting for the response but just so you know I've suggested that they swap our server onto different hardware.

Please post any additional server crashes here with the date and time.

Guys,

After a few exchanges of emails and support tickets Multiplay have done little to identify what is causing the server crashes.

The only thing they have proposed is a server move which will result in a new IP. However, I have confirmed that bookmarks etc will still remain so effectively our regulars will still be able to find us. However, we will lose our GameTracker stats and rating.

So the questions to you guys are:

1. Are we still having server crashes?

2. Are we willing to lose our Gametracker server rank and stats (including the 10k club)?

I'll go with the flow as usual. My thoughts are that if the server is still crashing then we move. It didn't crash last Friday however but most Friday's it does.

I haven't seen a crash for a couple of weeks (26th Aug).  And since moving to HC the server pick backup player wise!

I'd rather not lose Gametracker but then i would say that wouldn't i

Full server killed off by your hardware.

Please move the server ASAP to a new box. This will be the final attempt before I give up on Multiplay.
