Just some quick props for my bro who writes a blog which might be of interest to anyone dealing with networks.  I find it an interesting read even if I don't have the tech background to understand it all, but I think it's well written and I think deserves a shout out on the forums.  Feel free to follow, subscribe and respond to John, some of you might remember him from earlier dMw LANs as Tugs.

QuoteLame Journal is the personal blog for John H. By day I’m a Cisco-focused network geek; I am a 10-year CCIE #6727 in Routing & Switching (which as I’ve commented elsewhere either makes me cool or outdated â€" you decide). By night I’m an amateur musician, father of three, wife of one, photographer of everything and master of nothing.

I live in sunny Atlanta, GA and I have been known to attempt running once in a while. I even made it to the finish line of at least two 5k races. Eventually.

If you think what I share on this site is lame, then (a) feel free to politely mention that fact in an educational comment, and (b) look again at the URL and remind yourself that you were forewarned…

While my day job focuses on networking, anything I write here is my own opinion and should not be taken to have any relationship to my employer or my employer’s opinions. Nothing here is sanctioned or reviwed by my employer, nor are any opinions paid for. In the rare case where there might be a potential conflict of interest, you can be sure it will be noted in the relevant post.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Nice, I will definitely be checking this out.

I assume he's cool with me calling him up in the middle of night when I've horribly broken some Cisco kit, right? Good.
