Taiwan Realms now get Raid Resets twice a week

I missed this one in the run of news (it was buried by some other PTR news), but it's worrying to see them thinking about rolling it out across other regions.

The new raid lockout changes for Taiwan and Korea adjust the lockout timers for the patch 4.0 and 4.2 raids. The lockout timers for these raids will now reset twice weekly instead of once. These raid lockout changes are being made to allow players to raid more often and get more chances at epic loot drops. Players will be able to down current Cataclysm raid bosses twice a week, accelerating players’ progression.

We are testing these new raid lockout changes in Taiwan and Korea first. Our goal is to expand this change to other regions in the future, but we don’t have anything further to announce at this time with regard to North American implementation.

Doesn't that mean it's current content, not old content?

Well, the 'current Cataclysm raid bosses' are the ones in BoT, BWD, Tot4W and FL. It also says "the lockout timers for the 4.0 and 4.2 raids", which are the ones I just mentioned.

Wouldn't really make sense to put 4.3 raid on this timer...

Exactly, so it is for current raid content which is why I was worried by their thoughts to roll it out over other regions.  Two resets per week would suck imo.

It would not be ideal for the last bit of 4.2 progressing no. But I assume you can still extend lockout, so we can resume 'normal' pattern.

exactly, its obviously for those that farm everything already. If you dont want it then you just extend the lockout

They should make that for vanilla raids, so I can try and farm my Binding of the Windseeker of Garr twice a week (Geddon dropped 3 times now, Garr is a gamebreaker atm holding on to his binding grrrrr!).

They should change the limit to once a day in my opinion. Anyone bored enough to go through them 7 times a week has my blessing

If all you want is the bindings that only takes a few minutes ;-)

I hope this happens. As soon as possible. Why be worried?

This means more bosses go down,
-more ppl get exalted.
-more loot to be distributed.
-more chance of progress.
-more ppl get a chance on legendary
-more achieves. Srsly... i like focusinging on getting mount.

Given our current pace and the relative accessibility of bosses in Firelands this may not be all that bad an idea. Although I would say do Shannox/Domo on heroic at least, maybe Alys too. They are just as doable as normal, but with a lot better loot obviously :-)

That timetable is just an example.. but Alys/Domo/Shannox are easy peasy now. Ofc 2-3 weeks from now we will do these without any wipes.. :-)

More resets = more gear for rgw and more emblems and stuff for terras staff.
