Best Weapon??

Hey there guys,

Had some good fun last night playing BF3 with you lot!
But i have a question, what is your favorite/best engineer weapon?
And also would like to hear what is your favorite weapon of choise for assault?
I'm just curious..... :norty:

I've played quit a bit of engineer as it's my favourite class, it was also in BF2. Taking down tanks and such is just a good thing to do.
AKS-74U with IRNV 1x (nightvision) is my favourite so far.
The M4A1 is also quit good. I'm thinking of getting the G36C though, getting killed alot with it and 1vs1 I seem to loose.

Assault definatly the: M416 with the IRNV.

As assault i used the two default guns, with holographic and tactical light, as engineer im not too sure which gun to use, tried the ump, wasnt a big fan of it. Using the scar atm and as good as it is, it doesn't have a very big clip!

I've got slugs too but wasn't too impressed with those.

My absolute favourite gun in bf3 is the a-91 and guess what....its engineer i love it and cant fault it, i mostly fire it with the sight but its great when firing from the hip aswell...its accurate and doesnt shoot up in the air (off your target) when fired to its an easy gun to use. I use it with a suppressor aswell

G36C with IR scope, grip and heavy barrel is my favorite. It's the only weapon I like better then the SCAR-H and the UMP-45 atm. For dirty dirty sniping I use the M98B with 12x ballistic scope and bipod.

Mine has got to be the A-91 with suppressor kobra sight and foregrip, useless at long range at full auto and its outclassed by a fair few weapons in close range but at medium range its a beast. Good point with the IRNV I don't think it is overpowered in any way it provides no zoom and its countered by the spec ops camo (the last camo you unlock I think) which makes your uniform invisible to Thermal imaging (bare skin is not affected). Obviously the G36C is a good choice though I myself personally dont like it a great deal. I have been told that the Co-op Engineer weapon is really good though its one of the last to be unlocked in co-op (though I'm allways up for a game 30k to it!)

Edit: found the right combo for the G36C, IRNV, heavy barrel and the foregrip about 90 kills with it in one round pretty sweet

Gonna stick with engineer for now, i like it a lot...
Don't have the G36C yet, so AKS-74U will be the one i will upgrade

Hmmmm last night i used the G36C and the A-91 they both are really good guns!
Can't seem to choose between them .......
Ah well then i'll have to upgrade them both i guess :boxing:

As Enginer it's definetively the A91 I like the most, hard hitting, accurate under full auto and good medium+ range, front grip, russian a-cog and heavy barrel is prefered
As Assult I like the M16A3 (though for some reason I've had it from the start, but when I look at the unlock page I'm still 6 unlocks from it o.O  ?
As Support it's the good old Rambo gun, the M60, front grip, A-cog and extended mag makes it quite useful in defensive positions and it's acurate enough with burst fire when standing at medium ranges
As Recon I've not used the sniperrifles very much, think I've played more with the ump45 than the rifles, don't like the feel of the sniper rifles in BF3 so far.

Engineerwise it's the same config Varg has on the G36, alternatively the SG553.
I'm also quite in love with my M60 LMG with extended mag, IRNV and either bipod or grip depending on the map.
Assault, I pretty much just use various PDW's. P90, PDW-R, MP7, doesn't matter as long as I can kill someone up close, personal and dirty.
Sniper.. I'm useless as a sniper, so I need a fast follow-up shot. M39 works fine for that
