Vanguish

Hey guys,

How are you doing?
I was thinking of maybe coming back to the world of pixies, but i have still some doubts....
I'm getting a bit bored with BF3, and still waiting for Diablo 3 (got the collecters edition pre ordered... :D)

So is it worth it to get back into WoW??
I appreciate your thoughts....

hi Vanquish!

Seeing we are at an end of the expension there isnt really mutch to do if you been playing it for a while so most of us are just doing some achievments, pvping or gearing alts when we are not raiding.
I loved most of cata so i think its worth to come back to at least see some of the content, kill some bosses and maybe gear up abit before MOP hits :)

So in my opinion yes its worth comming back at this stage of the game!

If your comming back, just shout out in /g if you want to do abit of pvp or a dungeon or 2 :)

Rathr bizarrely it's not a bad time to come back as the current game allows you to relatively quickly gear up to a competitive level again before the expansion.  The introduction of the HoT heroics and in particular the ability to successfully 'pug' a raid means that your toon can be well placed to see the expansion when it arrives.

Hai Vang! Hows things mate?....

Since youve been gone patch 3.2 came in which as TL says has 3 new HC's and the dragon soul raid. The DS raid has a "looking for raid" option so yeah you can pug it and get some nice gear ready for MoP if you plan to play that?... Also you will get to kill deathwing ;)

There is 4 weeks till D3 drops so might be worth just playing to fill that time up.....
Im friends with the monster under my bed.
He gets on with the voices in my head.

If you want to get back to raiding level, then yes, it's really easy to do that nowadays. With luck it'll take you less than a day, otherwise a week at most.

If you're looking to entertain yourself with other endgame stuff... meh. Personally I only log on for raids, veeeery occasionally for an alt. LFR will let you see endgame content, but it won't feel like endgame content at all so be prepared for a bit of a letdown if you're looking for that feeling of epicness ;-) But it is incredibly easy gear.

If it's only to bridge the gap until D3, then sure, go for it. On the long term though... not much has changed in general since ~4.1. That said, there *are* a lot of changes planned for MoP, which isn't far from release, so that might make things more interesting again :-)
or Garrit, or Torgen. Also, Livestream.
