With the lack of people and amount of people that will have to go away during the up coming months ( exams and vacation ) and the lack of response to recruiting message I think we should consider merging the groups. We have at the moment 8 active members in RG, with Varg, Krek'la and Imhotep expecting to miss alot of nights the next month. I am not sure about BG but I believe they have 9 active members and can expect similar decay during the next months.

We have too many players for 1 group but it is better then 2 groups that can't play. I am also expecting that at least some people might stop playing completly because of Diablo III ( I am not planning on it but it might happen for me atleast ). This would also require that multiple people might have to respec since we would have too many healers at least.

The best way to organize such a merger I think is to keep it on 3 nights, with 1 night set specifically for gearing up players missing gear( Tuesdays, hard mode EV and Karragga's ) while the other 2 would be used for Progression. People should not be expecting to be in on 3 runs and most people will only do 1-2 runs a week as before. Instead of a roster for each group as it is now we would put up a roster for each weekday with what people are generally available those nights. This would keep people on the nights that they currently have operations if they want but they could switch to any 2 days or even all 3 if they want.

We should have enough content available at the moment to have something to do on all 3 days.

Soz for no response yet, as my mind was a bit focused on something else the last few days.

I think we will have a chat within the DC and get back on this.

OT: Your post also coincided with the dMw LAN (Thursday to Sunday) which we're only this morning recovering from!

the thought has crossed my mind as well, as finding new players in swtor seems to be a bitch. Lets do a trial run on one of the hardmodes perhaps?

Well we have a few new people that dont have any gear so they will need a help out with that.  It is being disucssed in DC :)

I think for the case of the next month (May) where a good few people are out it might be a very good idea to combine the 2 groups to make sure at least it is running.

Am not sure about the three runs idea as that may mean quite a lot of runs for one or two people and espeshilly the leaders should one not be able to make it. Should we not look to 2 nights a week with a progression run and a gear run on either day. Once more people have better gear and know the runs and how to raid perhaps moving back to 2 nights progression or 2 groups.

As some one can do normal and hard mode ops in one week this should not create a problem for numbers in my opinion.

BG is avail for a merge, we only have Demi that doesn't have any ops gear (dps) for the rest BG is geared with columi.

There are 5 leaders that can run the group as far as I know and merging it to 1 group with 3 nights instead of 2 groups with 2 nights will reduce the amount each player can join operations. It will go from being about 1.6 runs a week for 10players to 1.5 runs a week for 16 players or lower depending on how many we are. This also would reduce the amount of problems with reorganizing who can make it on what nights since some players can't make mondays or tuesdays and we would have to cut one of those.

im starting to concern. BG run on tuesday was cancelled, and by the looks of it, today is looking shady as well. The faster we can get this in place, the better.

Theres not gonna take many more cancelled runs before we start losing people, and tbh, i dont blame em.

BrotherTobious

We agree just need to iron out the finer points as in how many nights to be confrimed, how it is run, and how to sell this to the rest of the community.  We are disscusing it will be out ASAP
