Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
Hi my name is Carling, I'm 18 years old and i live in Norway. I am currently still in high school where i go to gymnastics direction.
 
Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Im a happy and outgoing personality, i really love competetive stuff which is one of the reason i want to switch guilds, and why i do pvp. I am allways up for a laugh aswell as i like it serious when it comes to the matter.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I have been playing computer games as long as i can remember, i have mostly been playing any type of game, mainly focused on RPG, Adventur Games, Strategic and FPS. I have been most competetive in FPS MW1 and WoW where i have achieved above average on several occasions including ranked within top 50 in Europe at a time in MW1

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
Well i was searching for a pve guild early this patch to get 2set bonus for ret, i finally found a guild doing Normal that were lfm to their grp. Ive been in this guild for 3-4 weeks now and we just did Morchok HC, i have done it alone at several occasions with pugs earlier and is mind wobbled about the fact that it was that hard for this grp, and as the competative person i am, i feel i want to expand my achievements list and progression and be up there with the best!

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?

I have been in plenty of guilds, most of them ages ago
Dark Knights of Doom > Preatorïans > Epic Hunters > Ultimate Fighting Guild > NewKidz .   Ive been moving on from most of them due to dying out other then that swapping from pve to pvp when i left EH, then i left UFG mainly because it died but i'd considered for ages going to a better pvp guild or a pve guild for gear.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Leggs, i know him  because he's my 3s partner.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
Yeah i have, i think the ideas behind your philosophy and demands are great, they're legit and well considered at the same time as improving the general needs you want from a player

What do you look for in a guild?
I look for a social senter with loads of friends that are active, i want a guild that starts conversations, and joins them, i look for a guild that accepts boths pvp and pve challenges.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Yeah i have plenty of alts tho my main alts would be:
Omnicidez - Alliance(Aszune)
Dralde - Alliance(Aszune)
Nexios - Horde(Aszune)
(3 or 4 more i play but not really actively)

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
I would like too be looked upon as a respected memeber of a team, and as a high end competative player in both pve and pvp, but yet as that funny chap you saw at the bar when we're off duty. As for my plans, i want to play with the best and progress that way as a team and as a individual.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Class balance in pvp

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Ask in a gentlemans way what his problem is, if the offensiveness (idk if thats a word) continues, contact a officer or take distance and let it settle.

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?
Due to summer vacation, every week except for a two week window where i travel to Italy mid july.

Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
I got a mic, and im not afraid to use it!

Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yes, as a matter of a fact i do.

What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
120fps

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
12/12 ICC on my hacked warrior bout 11 HC if i remeber correct, Ulduar, Naxx and TotC, full HC, in Cata only DS10 normal and Morchok, Unsleeping, Ultrax HC and Hagra 25 man HC

Why did you decide to play this class?
No particular reason, i had this pala for a long time, i dinged 85 mid Firelands patch and played a bit of arenas, i really enjoyed the class as its so much switching between offence and defence (healing / dps wise that is in pvp)

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Produce good overall dmg, potentiall High burst if needed on CDs, can soak certain stuff tho big crits will be limited to 2 or 3 defensive CDs, i can also swap pvp spec for major WoG crits which can assist on certain bosses with high demands for burst healing.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
The builds for ret paladins arenet that many, as for my spec i chose it because its the spec with the most potential dmg output and is the most common, other builds would help for certain bosses with a bit diffrent style of dmg, but in most cases, the higher the dmg the better.

Ye Slappur is a good buddy of mine i told him to apply as we have been short on melee. We played to 2200 in 3s and he was very consistent don't see why that wouldn't transfer to PvE

After a chat with the guys we can only offer a social spot at this time ... The problem being we have too many players in the priest pally lock loot table.. If you were to think about raiding on another class (warrior dps...ele shammy ... boomkin) then a slot may be up for grabs

Sadly, i will have to decline, i'm looking for a guild to help me progress in raids, i do have to say tho, i don't really see the problem as i was told you were lacking melee which means that main problem will b set pieces where as far as i know you're consisting members allready have heroic.

You hit the nail on the head ... the problem being we still have people with only 2 pieces of heroic loot while other classes have full heroic on main and off spec

The joys of the blizz loot system (bring the player not the class my a*se). 25 man it sorts itself out but 10 man it hurts. We had a long ponder about it but we need to stand firm on our decision to try and even out the class balance for MOP. Its not even unlucky drops its just the case of 5 (with you 6) classes competing for the same piece that only sometimes drops 1/week

Its also a sad decision from our side as you seem to be the perfect type of player to help build our raid team :sad:

Yeah i see it may be a long term issue for MoP, and it's sad to know that its my classes fault not me.

From RGT's point of view, I'll second what Jas has already said.  Our current raid group can mean up to 60% of the raid being on the Pala/Priest/Warlock token and that's also the token that is least frequent to drop.  We can't in all fairness add to that problem even when we like an application.   If we took another paladin in then we'd be at 'up to 70%' of the raid on the same tier token and that's not good for anybody.

If it is anyone's fault, it's ours for not ensuring we got unbalanced in the first place.

Yeah, I totally understand from your PoV and there's not much too do about other then saying; Thank you for reviewing my application, and i guess its sad for boths parts that we can't find a good solution, but you can't take me as a raider and im not interrested in a social spot. so there aint much too do other then, just tell me if you find yourself in need of a ret paladin or if you were to change your minds, tho i cant guarranteed i will be interrested anymore
