Ok so we have a date for M.O.P. What will it mean for Dmr Raiding ?

 

Current situation
As we hit the end of the end of this content we will be winding down raiding with a full raid break 2 weeks prior to launch of MOP. RGT have already dropped to 2 raid nights / week


Raid Teams.
After the initial leveling we need to re build our raid teams. As a benchmark we are looking to get our first raid pull 2 weeks after mop hits. I expect the first ventures in there will be a mash of the speed levelers. It’s a no brain'er but we need your raid toon leveled first

Raid days are to stay the same. Same time

The raid team makeup
We want to look at a better balance of class / 10 man team.
This has been a big problem not only the issue of loot distribution but also the stacking of buffs and mechanics needed to kill bosses. We have a great opportunity to produce 2 very strong teams

 
Peoples intentions for MOP
Are you even playing MOP ? Are you thinking of changing your main toon? The clock is ticking and its decision time. Keep in mind that a toon/spec change may leave you wanting a role that is already taken and that could mean no raid spot. The sooner we know everyone’s intension's the sooner we can see if we get a clash (or an open spot)

 
We want more support for raid teams
More people taking up a roll doing some of the dirty jobs that need to be done (logs,dkp,attendance, Raid lead,tactics) It all needs doing and we need your support. We will be asking people to take on these rolls if no volunteers pop up

 
The run into mop
We should start seeing the changes come through in the next few weeks. It will be nice to let people trial there new rolls / jobs / teams before the expansion so we can iron out any problems before they happen
Lastly as we close this chapter of raiding content the officers would like to thank you all for the best result Dmr have ever had raiding. We had a slow start and still manage to end up in the top 10 on the server. The raise in profile also means more people look at us now. We are in the top 10 for boss kills but Dmr and its reputation on the server is second to non and thats also down to you guys. Long may it continue

With Switch's comments about it being a good idea for RGT & RGW to BOTH take a 2 week raid break prior to MoP I have edited that into the post.
