From my experience so far, the game beats vanilla WoW.

Teamwork is expected and is a must, no idiots rushing to steal your nodes/loot as everyone gets a slice of the pie, no quests.  There are some rough edges, but they will be fixed as updates/fixes are rolling out on a daily basis.
