Just a heads-up lads, I am fully aware that the mindset present in this community should make the following more than obvious, but just in case.


Do not exploit anything, if you discover a loophole/bug report it.

There was an exploited bug this morning, and 3,000 accounts have been permabanned with another 1,000 with a 72 hour ban; in relation to this bug in particular (dirt cheap cultural weapons).

Further more, another 500 accounts were banned for 72 hours and Arenanet already stated that soon all botters will start receiving permabans.

Lot of idiots in forums are complaining about the bans apparently, saying "Oh it's the devs mistake, why should we get banned if it's there and we can buy it,  they have no right to ban". If you're going to buy 100+ of these weapons, you obviously know its not supposed to be part of the game and therefore you know it's an exploit. Just really cannot understand some people's logic.

I fully support Anets behavior here. It also helps to make a few server loads a little lighter
