MoP Launch Time confirmed

MoP comes out on 24th September.

In Europe and on Aszune we will officially gain access from 24:00 CEST = 23:00 BST = 22:00 GMT = 23:00 CET.

THAT's MONDAY NIGHT!

If the last couple of expansions is anything to go by, we might well gain access an hour earlier than this (DKs had access from just before 22:00 UK time for example), so just be online, be on teamspeak and be ready to enjoy the fun!

I'm looking forward to it, but also wondering what leveling will be like these days (hopes it goes quickly).  I also have to think about server ques I guess, as I need to create my monk, then get my heirlooms etc.. to her.  I'm glad we get the launch around 11 UK time as I cant have the morning off, was planning on taking a few days, but am needed in the morning at work.  Still, not long now, and quite excitted

The general tip will be to be online all evening so that you are already logged in to the world server (not the realm) as the world server is what usually crashes.   If you then log out to create the toon and straight back in you do not lose your place on the realm and don't have to re-queue to get back in.

I'm assuming that the final download to unlock the pre-download, along with any final files needed will be available for download during the Tuesday and then installed at that point, thus being available for immediate gameplay later that evening.

All bets are off though with Blizzard involved, anything could happen!

Just to correct this post.   Current Blues say:

European realms - 12:00 a.m. CEST, September 25, which is 23:00 UK time TONIGHT.

I am sure that I cut and pasted this from an earlier blue, so apologies if anyone else was also mislead.   Never heard of an expansion coming out on a Monday night, that's bizarre!
