HEROIC - Elegon - DEFEATED 24/02/13

Thread for the discussion of the Heroic version of this encounter.

This one looks very doable.  

All the changes seem to be in Phase 1, so we just need to work out handling the new LOS between inner & outer rings.   No doubt we'll need to sort a rotation for the protector blowing up due to the debuff.   Rogues, hunters, shadow priests (and I am guessing mages too with iceblock) can all soak a blast.    With the debuff being 2 minutes we should be fine in P1 to use anyone combo of 2 soakers, but ideally those that can avoid being taken <80% HP.   If we avoid going below 80% HP then the ticking DOT is not applied and so healers do not need to focus heal that target.

DPS looked on track to hit 85% before we got a 3rd Protector, so that's looking ok.

All of the 2 minute Destabilized debuffs will have expired by the time we get into the second P1, so it's just a matter of setting a decent order for that phase and finding out how many people we need to achieve the kill.

Energy Charge HP is up from 500k to 738k.  
We will need more focused attention on these to make sure we do not get one slipping through - think back to what we had to do for the first Elegon Normal kills!

Looking forward to this, I think we can kill it this reset.
