Dodgeball!

Create enough Heavy Leather Balls for each participant to have five or so, and at the end of each round (maybe 2-3 minutes) remove the 2 or so people with the most balls in their inventory. Make sure everyone knows how to bind them to their hotbar and make mounts against the rules (may be a good idea to make stuff like speed enhancements (aspect of cheetah, cat form, etc) and the warlock's teleport thing against the rules too, was kinda imbalanced for us). Depending on how serious you want to make it, you could make some more rules, too. By far, it was the best time I've had on WoW doing this kind of event. I would say vent is a must in this situation, as it just makes things that much more fun. As far as location, I would suggest the giant portal area in Duskwood, or you could choose an arena if you want to spice it up I suppose...

The best one I could find tho was lawn darts throwing your level 1 Tauren off the top of thunder bluff at a target.... tho we would need to swap to another sever to make toons

as we talked about jas I went up to ruins of gilneas and had a look about, merchant square seems fairly decent for the dodge ball its a bit open but got some things you can hide behind. Another place in that area is greymane manor, if we have the dodgeball inside of the manor and we say not to use the tower to hide in and when the dodgeball is done perhaps we can use the tower there for the lawn dart or we can use the big greymane wall itself since that is fairly tall. As for the race why not have it from scarlet monastery to gilneas and beforehand why not create a horde char (if we can) and just spam trade in horde to say that pvp tagged naked alliance players will run by undercity at around X hour. Just an idea ofc there is prob better places around there but just what I came up with in that area.

1 Race from starting area to thunderbluff
2 Law dart comp jumping off of thunderbluff at a target
3 Dodge ball comp. Grab 20 leather balls run around and get rid of them. People that have balls after 10 mins are knocked out. Shorten the time to 5 mins and repeat till we have a winner . I would like to stay with the lvl 1 and have some balls made and ready.

4 Snowball challenge race. Give out 1 snowball each and you need to be the first to throw it in the face of a specific mob (hoard leader maybe)
5 The gauntlet naked race past a hoard town

I can be there, but I'd suggest pushing out whatever idea you want to run with as soon as possible so that members know what we're doing.

I quite like the idea of people jumping off Thunder Bluff to a target.   HALO jumping (High Altitude Low Obliteration) but have never done it so am not sure how easy such a competition would be to run or where to place a target etc.

I think whatever we do it needs to be something people can enjoy as part of the group, ideally see or be doing something to feel part of the event.


Re prizes, I'd do similar to whatever we did last time.   Traveller mount for 1st if the prizes are solo, or perhaps 5k per team member for the winning side etc.

I'm happy for you to decide on which competition we run, but we can ultimately not make the decision until the day of the event, so long as people know an event is planned and that they therefore turn up.
