Are you applying for a Raider position, or Social membership?
I am applying for social membership (hopefully to be raider later on if possible).

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My name is Maria, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Denmark. I'm married to Poul, who is also a gamer and together we have 2 daughters and a 3rd on the way. I'm currently not working. :-)

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I'm ginger, enough said! Joking.. I see myself as a very social person. I'm easy going and helpful, but also enjoy joking around (when the time is right). I really enjoy the social part of the game. I like the fact that you "talk" to people all over the world and you kind of become friends, without ever meeting them.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I've been playing computer games for around 12 years. I started out as a Counter Strike gamer and I moved on to other games along the way. I've been playing WoW since the ending of Vanilla.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I was searching for a guild that seemed to understand people who has kids. I also like big guilds, 'cause there is almost always people online. Also, if I ever should get to raid, I'd like to be in a guild that actually progresses.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I'm still fairly new to this server, so I've "only" been in 1 other guild: Axis of Awaiting Destiny. Lovely guys, really! It nearly broke my heart leaving them, but I simply felt that I was expendable and that feeling isn't very nice.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
I don't know anyone. I looked up the guild-rating list and the guild finder in-game and I spent hours looking over the different guild. Your guild popped up and it sounds like a really nice place to be :-)

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
Yes. It was after reading those, that I made up my mind about applying. So I guess you can say that I liked what I read ;-)

What do you look for in a guild?
Social people. The feeling of fitting in.. Not being alone in the game. And ofcourse, the feeling of not being expendable - Even if I'm "just" a social member.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Yes. Whooshadaisy (Pala) and Casille (DK).

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
My first thought was: "Wow, their Teamspeak must be REALLY quiet during raids". And.. Also zombies.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
I hope to be able to end-game raid sometime. My plan for the moment is to have fun and learn a lot more about my character. Also helping my husband getting to level 90 (he just started playing again).

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Too many disrespectful people around. Oh, and I HATE the weekly valor cap.. It's way too low!

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Really depends on if it's personal or not. Normally I don't react to written words, but if my "friend" is being offensive towards my family, I rage-quit (log off) and talk to a high-ranked person in the guild at a later moment.

Cake or Pie?
Uhm. The cake is a lie, so it must be pie (even though I really like cake).

That is so the opposite of our teamspeak :roflmao:

Nice app Maria and we'd be happy to offer you social membership.   Whisper an officer when you are next online and we'll get you invited to the guild.

Welcome to DMR and the wider Dead Men Walking community.   Take a bit of time to look around the other parts of the community and make sure your TS has our details added!
