ok here's a short right up and whats happened to locks post mop

affliction: they removed shadow bolt and replaced with MF Grasp, you still have your unstable affiction,corruption,curse of agony, haunt.
haunt now uses a soul shard per cast,so you will want to be getting in your drain soul about 20% on mobs to refresh,we know have harvest life think of it as a aoe drain life.
we have new stronger demons if you use the tome of service, if u want 50% more dps then use tome of sacrifice and forgo your pet.
if you use your soul shard with your soul swap the mob will have the 3 main dots on it.
so basically its same as before keeping dots on your target filling with mf grasp and draining at 20%

i know most of us locks know this stuff but its for the benifit of people just coming back after a time away.

Having played my lock a bit now I'm liking the changes they've made to affliction, and to destro.  I've not played demo much as it's never really been my spec.  DPS for affliction is extremely good right now, my rotation for single target is as follows:

CoE > Soul Burn > Soul Swap > Haunt > Malefic Grasp (above 20%) > Drain Soul (Below 20%)

I use TellMeWhen for DoT tracking and referesh DoTs as required, recasting Haunt on every Nightfall proc.

If there's enough interest I'll write a lock guide like the mage one I did.  Depends how much time I have during my holiday this week

Im just starting to level my lock ... Im going demo for leveling (never had it as a spec before) its quite fun having a main pet and 2 imps following you around. When I hit 90 looking at the numbers affliction seems to come out top so ill drop back to that

I use http://www.noxxic.com/wow/pve/warlock/demonology to get a grip on the basics for toons.
