Is it possible to archive the cs admin section and give us a CS:GO section please?

smilodon

I've archived the old CS:Admin forum and created a new CS:GO Admin forum in it's place.

The CS:Admin forum didn't have any users (apart from Game Leaders and Admins) assigned to it though. Currently there is a CS Public Admin user group with the following members
Delanvital
Kregoron
Le Rouge
Lee
no peanuts
Othbarthy
Sithvid
T-Bag

which I assume is a bit out of date?

I can use this group and update it with your current admin line up if you can post it. Then the new CS:GO Admin group will have access to the new CS:GO Admin forum.

Done. I don't remember if red admin badge holders also sport green player badges as well? I know we agreed on a rule some while back don't remember what it was? Red and green or red replaces green?

I thought red replaces green?

Yup, they replace the green badges.

The only time Red and Green badges are awarded together is for the LAN as people can do the work for the LAN and not attend.

Thanks

Blunt

Admins unable to see the section yet

smilodon

Well done you're absolutely correct, I create a forum and a usergroup and then don't add the two together.

Fixed

smilodon

I've checked and she has all the permissions neccessary. The only difference between her and other admins is that she is not a supporting member, but I can't see how that would make a difference. I'll look deeper into it tommorrow.

I know it's not compulsory but it would be good is she was a supporting member.

We've previoulsy said that admins should only be drawn from the supporting member pool as otherwise it sends a bad message but we can't really make it compulsory. wither way it would be a 'positive' thing to suggest if can.

smilodon

I cannot see any problem with the form permissions. Can someone confirm that Soon Jung still cannot see the admin forum?

no peanuts sent me this:

QuoteI can access the URL above, and I can see the individual threads. [/COLOR]
(I can see everything under Forum > dMw Admins > Game Admins > CS:GO Admins )

But I can't access them from the main page. If I go to 'Forum > dMw Admins' no threads/sub-forums are listed.

If I go to 'Forum > dMw Admins > Game Admins' I get 'no peanuts, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons......
