Origin download issue

im having problems downloading games from Origin.  My download starts off at 1.25mbs (slow i know but thats normal for me), so i go away and leave it to download, i then come back about half hour later and my speed stays at 3kbs :blink:

anyone had this before? ive tried reinstalling Origin, resetting my router etc but nothing seems to have worked.  Nothing else is downloading and no other devices are hogging the line (even if they were it still shouldnt be that slow).  Its starting to really annoy me, am i missing something obvious? :g:
