We've spun one up for you.  Hopefully it will show up when the game goes live tomorrow.

Are there any assist restrictions on the server? With a gamepad I'll probably need all the assists I can get.

It's a totally vanilla config, so atm I would guess not.   We'll figure out what we need in the way of configs in due course I presume!

I booted up to see if more data needed to be downloaded, at 6.45 cest. TeaLeaf is playing Project C.A.R.S. my steam client tells me. You ever heard of sleep!

Yes, about 10 others are visible.  I'll check the server is up to date and then try again later.

I did a port scan of the server and port 27016 and 17 aren't open.

Although 17 (the query port) seems to report on the http://cars-stats-steam.wmdportal.com/index.php/servers

Perhaps that one is connecting outbound. They are still not allowing new registrations to their World of MD forum since launch so I can't browse there and help out.

If you have trouble joining/finding the dMw server, can you try adding this to the steam launch properties please?

In Steam, right click on Project Cars
click Set Launch Properties
Add -searchds "Dead Men Walking" and his OK
Close

Now start pCars and try to join.  I did this and was joined by someone within 3 mins.

It seems the DS side still needs some development, so I am sure that it will get easier! (I hope)
