Broodmother Lysrix

At the moment there are a few things going on, and i want to make sure to get everyone on the same level before we do something.

1. Broodmother Lysrix
2. Server mod


As the talk between the server admins and the game admins is a bit about the mods etc. but the talk in game is the cave runs with in the end the Broodmother Lysrix fight.
I want to make sure that the Broodmother Lysrix fight happens before we change something to the server.

There are some people already working on it to get the artifacts needed to summon the boss, we are missing only 3 out of 6 so far and the once we have are kept in my base and can by seen by everyone who comes to visit.
If we get this done with the tribe, that would be a nice milestone to get to and move on with any changes to the server if we decide to do that.



As for the fight it self:

Ofcourse we need the 6 artifacts and some other stuff we have loads of anyway, to even be able to summon the boss at any obelisk.


I would summon the boss at the green obelisk as most of the active members are around that tower, but it can be done at the other towers aswell.

Now we can do this fight in 3 ways:

1. Full dino charge
2. Just 1 or 2 dino tanks, rest just us
3. Only members with ranged and melee weapons.

1. For what i have seen on some video's, is that this way is a big overkill, there is no fun to the fight and just getting the achievement.

2. This makes a pretty challenge to just use 1 or 2 tanks (turtle or t-rex) and try to kill it on our own. This might already be a big challenge if you look at our numbers and the gear we have available.

3. I guess this is the hardcore way and i think we don't have the numbers to do it, but it would be a real achievement to do it with just the members and no help of the dino's.



As soon as we summon Broodmother Lysrix, she will appear and also starts to summon some adds (spiders). This will go on untill she dies.
So we don't only have to worry about one huge spider but also a lot of small spiders and if we aint taking care of those we will be quickly overrun and we will not only loose our lives but also our dino's.

The fight will need a main leader during the fight it self and people have to listen to what is said. Where i am going to have a feeling with 2 or 3 of our active members we will only hear screaming on ts....:blink:
But to be honest we really need some talk during the fight if we need to move out dino's and people to heal up etc.
As the area of the fight isn't that big and dino's are able to get out of the agro range but people will have to listen and make sure things happen before we just kill each other.



As for the tanks, i am willing to sacrifice my honor guard (my t-rex family) to do this fight.
At this moment one is lvl 87 while the other is lvl 85. Also i have seen a turtle being used as main tank. I just tamed a lvl 30 one and it needs some levels we might try him out, with us still a bit away from doing this fight it will gain some levels anyway.



So feel free to add info or anything else about this, and lets see how and when we are able to make this happen for the tribe.

Sounds good. Trouble is that I am off for three weeks from the 20th March so won't be able to contribute much more until I get back. :crying:

Not sure if I can get a cave run for another artefact completed but I'll see what I can do.

I've got a lot of the ground combat experience so handeling add's would be a fun process for myself and any suicidal team members that want to join, but sword and shield means those spider adds will fall quickly...
Please do it on a sunday night...

I'm in. I'm getting pretty good with a shield too, so I don't mind taking the vanguard. Sunday would likely be best for me as well

After the Lan we will have a chat about when to do this fight, as to many people are not able to make it.

Fight it self:

Everyone brings in one dino to do the fight with, with maybe if they want to, one spare, that stays at the staging area untill it is needed.



I am bringing 2 T-Rex's, one will be used by myself the other by someone else who also knows how to use a T-Rex. (both at or above lvl 90)
2 cannonfodder turtle's who will be a sort of tank and will do what they like.

But all still has to be decided as they might even change the fight etc...  you never know.
