steam deleted my games

i have came on today and for the first time in ages had to login into my steam account didn't think much of it till i went to play a game and found that its uninstalled two of my most played games which are ark and arma 3.... am not that happy but am more worried then anything. i aint sure why they have gone and it worries me slightly. anyone got any ideas or insights on this ?

How are your drives setup? all on 1 hdd or do you install games to a different drive?

Yeah this can cause Steam to throw a bit of a wobbler at times. Especially after a Steam update. Iirc Steam sometimes loses the location of some files if the game is installed on a different partition from Steam itself. I wouldn't get too worried

Please file a bug report with Steam to ensure that it gets fixed - if you don't ask you don't get.
