State of the Nation

Hey chaps.

Just wanted to get some feedback on the 'state of the nation' regarding The Center.

People are leveling up at markedly different rates with some now ready to do other things and some working on their bases.

In order to liven things up a little the admins propose running a few events to give you guys a break from the monotony. The Center is a rich and varied place and there's much to explore. Be it the floating island, underground world or air bubble areas, there's a lot to see.

So let us know if/when you're ready for an explore and we'll have some group-based adventuring to these virgin areas.

As you know I am fairly far along level-wise, but with a sudden dramatic drop in my time to play I haven't built / tamed much of late.

That said if we are going to do an organised event, I will try to be there and am happy to supply things like Hide clothing, pikes, crossbows, arrows, etc etc etc - dispensable supplies, basically. That way you don't have to worry about losing your own gear!

Currently level 15. Progression has been slow past level 10.

Gorion, I built a wall! Feel free to move into the compound if you like and we can create a shared bunch of buildings. I recall your Warframe Dojo creation skills being rather good

Sure thing. Crafted a pestle behind the forge. I want to tame a trike so that berry gathering is not such a chore. Currently, it's taking too much time to gather berries to feed dinos, and nacros.

I upped the wall to a height of 3 all around as I had a carno encounter during a night and he literally stomp himself inside. To note that part of the wall does not snap properly. Did quite a bit of berry gathering as there was no food in the dodo feeder.

I've been out of it a bit recently. Been very busy. But i'd be happy to get back into some group events. Even if I'm just going to be taking photos

That wooden fence that you put onto the compound wall, I can't over build onto it with stone wall for some reason. I have all the wall made ready.

Just place the wall components somewhere and I'll plop them over the next time I'm on, so we get most of them wooden components back. I should be on later tonight.

If plopping stuff gives XP, I'll destroy the wooden stuff instead, unless it's negligible.

Edit: Plopping does not give XP, used those stone walls to replace as many wood walls as possible

29 stone wall parts in the workshop. Also some blue prints for you. Help yourself.

Top wall project nearly complete. Foundations don't line up due to height difference so it's not nice.

Ladder to top and support pillars are all done. Just need to sort out the final closure up top in the morning.

Project nearly complete. Skeleton of the wall/structure is complete, will need a bunch of walls to place on the front/back and foundations to fill in the gaps. Wall front is to be double doored to provide access to the skeleton for reinforcement/repair works. One of the doors is already plotted down, the other door is to be placed in front of it, with the exterior part facing outwards.

We're going to start a rolling programme of community events - Chaos is working on the first one which will happen in the next week so stay tuned. :thumbsup2:
