I'm doing some work on the way GL's can moderate their forums to make things neater and help me in my endless battle against forum admin chaos. For about 24/36 hours you will not be able to award badges or moderate your forums. Any issues need sorting out before your permissions are restored please PM me.

Thanks Chaos for notifying me of the chaos. :D

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Hopefully each Game Leader is now a moderator for their forums and sub forums as well as their Admin forum. This should let you moderate/delete/open/close etc posts as you see fit. One point to mention is that we don't normally hard delete anything on this message board. Anything that yoiu want to get rid off should be moved to Compost Corner.

Also the Vbulletin forums have some posts about sub forums not inheriting moderation privileges from a parent forum. If you do have some sub forums under your main game forum when you get a chance please check you can moderate in them as well.

Thanks

Award Badges are next on the list to sort out.

An update on the Award Manager etc.

There is a bug in the VBulletin Software that means the little 'Mod' button that would normally appear on the right hand side bottom toolbar is missing. I say bug but in fact the VBulletin developers removed it on purpose. Understandably there was uproar. As is usual when developers bump into users the Devs had a hissy fit and refused to listen to anyone. So we still have a Message Board system that doesn't give moderators any simple way to access the moderators panel, go figure.

As moderators of your respective forums you do have access to the moderator control panel though, just not the button. In order to access the Mod control Panel and through that the Badge Award Section you will need to use this link (probably worth bookmarking)
