Gunda

what motherboard is it? as not all M.2 slots are NVMe compatible.. I seem to remember when they first came around some were only SATA based.

M.2 NVMe SSD's are about 2 - 3 times faster in quite a few benchmarks, but real world.. who knows if you would see much difference.

no peanuts

I've got m.2 NVME drives in 2 of my desktops, on paper they outperform the SSD's. But I can't say I noticed much of a difference during normal usage or gaming.
Personally I'd safe the money and buy a bigger SSD.
