Whatsapp Group for Comp / Bants

Hi boys and girls of overwatch.

We have a whatsapp group going we use to try to organise comp games. So far we have been using it for the team that are trying to group up to push to Diamond - that hasn't gone so well as 1) we are all rubbish and 2) it's hard to get 5 or 6 together at the same time.

We are opening this group up to include anyone that wants to join it. If you're keen on comp, come join the chat and we will use it to try to get games going. It's are place for you to say "going online at 7pm who wants to join", for example, to try to get grouped up.

Please note this does not necessarily mean individuals will wish to group up with others with lower (or higher) ranks. It is entirely up to individuals who they do and don't want to group with! We have mixed ability and mixed rank in the community and we will not force anyone to play competitive in a team they do not feel comfortable in.

Hopefully this can help those of you looking to group up get into teams and play a bit more!

I'm playing Overwatch at the moment and not totally horrendous at it, but I'm afraid I'm not going to join a Whatsapp group just for it! If I'm online then you'll see I'm online and I'll be happy help if needed. Not meant to sound ****y, but I sometimes just turn the phone off or have it on mute.

The group is there as an option as we find it easier to organise times to game together using it, but there is also the option to post up on here (there is a thread for that!) or just to hop on and see who is online

I bumped this thread so people are aware it is there if they want to join us! It is by no means necessary to play comp with the group, of course.

And Mr Rogue, you only have to be level 25, then you can enter comp

Hi AKASH, welcome to the forums. I should probably have edited or closed this thread by now as the chat no longer functions as an Overwatch chat. With our move over to discord (as a community), we now use discord for Overwatch related chat and game comms.

If you're keen to play some Overwatch with us, Wednesday nights at 20:00 GMT is the best time. Hop in the discord (details in the 'Server Details' area of this forum - you need to have a validated forum account to see this bit) and say hi! There are also sometimes people playing on other nights of the week, so drop by any time you see people in the Overwatch channel and we will get you in a group!

Lastly, I'll also point you in the direction of the intro thread. If you have a spare five minutes, why not write up a small hello! Here's the link for that bit -
