Arma 3 DLC

After faffing about for ages I'm going to buy the missing DLC for Arma 3. However I also notice there's a package called Arma 3 Apex, which is a new island, vehicles etc.

Is there any point in buying this? I never really rated the Arma 3 single player stuff so far but wondered if it was worth picking up or if I needed it for the full multiplayer experience.

I'll admit I'm buying the DLC as much to put some money into the pocket of a developer I respect (forget DAYZ :norty: ) and whose game I still enjoy rather than to actually use every bit of new kit it includes.

I have it mate and all the others. Nice jungle maps to play possibly wait till cheese or twobad see this

It depends on the price, the map is lovely and is really well done. The only thing i would say is that we didn't play it much when it came out because we didn't want to cut off from people who didn't have it already. If everyone who plays has it then i would recommend  it since its a great map with a great atmosphere. Be a good map to do more mission on since with all the island i think you can do more with apex map then you can the others that are in the game.

Puff has been dying to create more missions on Tanoa.  WE have a few both from me and him but as has already been said, we don't play it when people don't have it. We will play it if everyone who's on has it.  I like that map, if you have a look in the Discord channel there are some videos posted on 18/02/2019 from the last time we played it.
