short rotation on Homer?

Could we have a short rotation on homer with just about 5 maps. I know we have discussed it before.

I suggest the following as they don't need that many players to be fun.

My 2 cents, No.

Because it would get boring as hell in no time at all. The solution is to get more peeps playing on the maps we have in rotation. We also have quite a few peeps with rcon power to advance maps so I see no need.

If it went to a 4 map rotation I'd definitely get bored and probably go play elsewhere more often......

I still think we should make homer a fun server with Snipertowers, Pro_ball(or whatever it is) and a few other small but easilly downloadable maps.

How quickly does homer fill up when me and squ0nk nip on for a quick mess with sniper towers? Bloody quick i tell ya.

I know the answer it isn't TCS but worth a try every now and again

I must say, Smite is right, I look on HLSW and see 10 people on MH, on Dust2 and there are 8 people on Homer playing snipertowers, I join Homer. :unsure:

WC3 is the way to make Homer fun imo.

I vote for a custom map rotation on homer. It could be a good testing ground before entering a new map into the standard rotation on MH.

There are some maps that have been suggested that we could throw onto homer. Now with the fast DL of maps it will be easier to try out new maps.

If not then go forward with the WC3 mod.

My comment was made more injest about WC3 - I enjoy it, I would play it at a LAN, but I'm not sure I would want it creeping into TCS. We did the short custom rotation thing back in the day when Homer was called Hotel Gibb, it didn't work then either. Not sure what to do now, still thinking and discussing options.

It didn't work on Hotel gib i think because we didn't have the amount of members we now have.
This server isn't really being used so what can it do just to test it for a few weeks and see what interest it gets. If it isn't getting used then just change the rotation back to a normal one.
I think the fun maps would be used mostly on friday nights or during the day on sunday as at these times people just fancy having a bit of fun.
