Christian Bale (American Psycho) is the new Batman. It will also star Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and Gary Oldman. The director is Christopher Nolan who directed Memento.

It could be as bad as the last one except for the fact that Morgan Freeman hasn't done a really bad film in years. In fact he may not have done a bad film ever depending on what you thought of  Deep Impact and Bonfire of the Vanities?

speaking of super heroes...wot eva happened to Nicholas cage being the next superman?.............btw u will not get a better batman than mick keaton,  imo

I agree with Vince - Keaton was an inspired choice on the part of Tim Burton

But I like the idea of Bale - isn't it set pre-Tim Burton film?  A young Batman?  Great actor, and Patrick Batman has become a legendary performance.

No idea who the villain is though.  Caine is the butler, I think?

I think the Nick Cage as Superman idea fell through when Tim Burton pulled out of the project.  Another comic book legal wrangle if I remember rightly.
