This is the serious section so I will resist the urge to go off on a rant about irresponsible personal computing and deserving what you get if you are vunerable to this one but...

this worm is a really good reason to keep Windows fully patched and to consider a firewall if you don't have one. There's likely to be some variants of this worm in the days to come  :angry:

Additionally, and this is the killer, it has been on the loose for over a week now and was patched in early April but I suppose a late warning is better than no warning at all ;)
