Team Tactics

There are a million sites out there that can tell you tactics on how to play CS…. But the downfall of these is that the only talk about a single entity playing not a team. It’s quite difficult to find any info on team stuff, as clans want to keep it secret

So far we have already had the mention of the Spawn rush i.e. rush to the closest site to improve speed.  Also some comments have been made about HE kills and using them to weaken a team from the first round onwards

Well I thought I would add a couple more things to think about

1 The Buddy System
2 The Kill Zone

1 The Buddy system (used when attacking) is common sense stick with another player. 2 people working together can totally dominate an area.
NOTE make sure both players understand who is on point and who is on backup.  I have tried to do this and found it a lot more difficult than it sounds. The hard part is being close enough for both people to get to see the same target and not fall over each other in the process.
A major stumbling point is corners, the first person should always JUMP / RUN past a corner allowing the second player to move up into position. If you try this see what problems you encounter as a point man or backup man. As a Point man take things a little bit slower at first. As Backup stay Behind and stay with them

2 The Kill Zone this is a bit more difficult to explain. The basics of this are an ambush as it can only be performed when camping. It requires lots of people. Fist of all a point on a map is fixed as a kill zone. Then people camp around the kill zone but not in view (keep hidden) only one person will be a spotter and he should make the call when any enemy enters the zone. This is then the trigger for all people to pop out and cap the buggers. With enough concentrated firepower you don’t even need to aim.  Also good for a mp5 eco round

Example: Dust 2 site B springs to mind. If the Terrorists are a little slow off of the mark it is possible to gain good position in bombsite B and set up a kill zone a few feet outside the Grinder. For training spray a tag on the floor where u need the fire power. The spotter should be the only person visible all the rest are dug in (like Alabama ticks). The spotter is also hidden but with a view of the Kill Zone. When our man makes the call everyone pops out and gives it some full auto action. Don’t run away once this kicks off  empty the clip push em back the way they came

Again sounds easy but it has got to be fast and a surprise. Remember the Attacking team must not see you until the spotter has made the call.

I have used a Kill Zone on dust 2 with 3 players and it works great for about 3 rounds then they figure out its easier to attack bombsite A
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion
