Gents, it's only a game.  The SL's do have a rough time, but it's because they were always last picked at school, so give them a break

The bottom line here is, preliminary teams were selected in advance in order to make the evening easier for the SL in charge of the nights proceedings as he could not spend as much of his time as he normally does arranging the matches. The only error here was not stating that clearly in the first post. In the end, the final selection was as per our standard proceedure and that has not changed.
Topic should now be closed and if required resumed in the admin section.
