Network 42 now a PUBLIC server......

Looks like N42 is in its final death throes as they have made the server public (that's right, PUBLIC with NO PASSWORD) in an attempt to get the player numbers back up again.  See //www.xlii.com for more info.  That's sad news, but a sensible step for them, because few players on large custom maps makes for no fun.  It will be interesting to see if any of the new public players will stick to the PCS rules seeing as they will most likely never have seen them!

It also serves as a reminder that if we like PCS, then we need to take every opportunity to pimp MeatHook PCS and Crosswired to keep our numbers up.  So please folks, for your New Year's resolution go and post some nice comments in the CS news group referring to both these forums and MeatHook PCS.  If you want an appropriate news group footer with all our details on the PM me and I'll send you the text.  Post articles and comments on the various ladder websites, ED, Clanbase etc.  Make yourself heard and spread the word a little please
