Need Light Leather

At the moment i need some light leather to make some weapon for a blacksmith quest. But for the life of me i cant find anywhere to buy it. Ive come to the conclusion that you cant and it taken from the skinning profession.

I'm tempted to create a mule to do the sknning and mail the light leather to my blacksmith. Anyone doing skinnning and willig to sell me the skins?

I have joined the auction to get some but would rather put some cash to some of u lot.

See you did join the wrong realm. I'm up to my ears in leather (  :eyebrow:  ) but not in the Aszune realm. Asking in the trade channel of any main city will probably get a response or try the Auction house under 'consumerables'.

how do i ask in a channel? I havent found anywhere that says how todo that.

I wouldn't mind using the lookingforgroup channel.

is it something like /trade   OR /lookingforgroup

Likewise Jam - I have heaps-o-light leather.  almost everything I skin is light or medium leather at the moment.  I get heaps (and therefore have surplus) of wool, linen and leather. Shout if you need some, currently all I do is give it to a friend - a bit of a symbiotic relationship really, I get him raw materials and he tailors some nice 10 slot bags and other clothing.  Now that's an oxymoron if I ever saw one:  'cloth armour'  :lmfao:

it seems silly that i cant learn how to skin stuff :/ skinning sounds like a secondary profession. I suppose it isnt healthy to be self suffient in that way.

and damn, i just bought an 8 slot bag for 25 silver. :|

My eight slotters are 22 silver so the price you paid isn't so bad.

Buy and sell in the general chat channel ( /1 ) unless you are in a city where you can use the trade chaneel ( /4).
