OK we have thought about the maps for the tourney.

Format: Each team will play 4 matches in total.  There will be three 'league' games in which each team will play the other three.  Then there will be a Final for the top two teams and a consolation final for the 3rd and 4th team.

2.00pm Match 1: on de_aztec

-=[SaB]=- v [aPe]  on MeatHook  (Match Admin - TeaLeaf)
[YunGunz] v [ARM]  on Baldric  (Match Admin - Gandalf-LordOfJelly)

2.45pm Match 2: on de_dust2

[YunGunz] v [aPe]  on MeatHook  (Match Admin - TeaLeaf)
-=[SaB]=- v [ARM]  on Baldric  (Match Admin - Smite)

3.30pm Match 3: on de_inferno

[aPe] v [ARM]  on MeatHook  (Match Admin - TeaLeaf)
 [YunGunz] v -=[SaB]=-  on Baldric  (Match Admin - Gandalf-LordOfJelly)

4.15pm Grand Final: de_nuke on MeatHook
4.15pm Consolation Final: de_nuke on Baldric

This will mean that you won't be playing the same oppo on the same map as everyone else, but that should make it a bit more interesting.

SLs, prepare your tactics accordingly for a match with the following rules: MR12, 6 v 6, FF On, C4 Timer 35 secs, Knives to decide start.  This is not a PCS competition.

Squad ranking will be based on Wins, Draws and Losses.  In the event of a tie total rounds won and total rounds lost will be judged.  If still tied then total frags and then deaths will be counted.

Match results, along with round scores for each half of the match are to be posted in a nominated IRC room after each match by the SL or an appointed SL Trustee.  Each squad should also make sure that they take a screen shot at the end of each game so that frag and death scores are available in the event of a tie.

Match disputes of any sort and final ranking will be settled solely by Oldbloke & TeaLeaf as Arbiters.

OK, matches have been drawn and they have been inserted into the above post.

IMPORTANT:  Timing really is everything.

We will be playing MR12 which means that theoretically each match could take up to 1 hour 12 minutes.  However, as we are not playing PCS and it is highly unusual for a match round to last the full 3 minutes, we are aiming to complete each match in about 45 minutes.  We appreciate that some may take a little longer, but let's see how we progress.

When you finish a match then get on to your next server IMMEDIATELY. If when you switch to the next server you find a match is still in progress, then select spectate.  Think of finishing early as a spectating bonus!   :D

Once the prior match has finished, the Match Admin will NOT allow more than 5 minutes to elapse from the point that there are members of both squads on the server to the match start.  If one of your own team is late then they're late and you're a man down.   :(

I reckon that with a bit of luck and a following wind (that'll be Sheepeh then) that we should be able to make these timings stick.  Please try to help us achieve the schedule.  :D
