Called Spores, the game allows players to determine the evolution of a species, from an amoeba to an inter-stellar race.

Sims creator Will Wright offered a first look at the game at last week's E3 expo in Los Angeles.

The PC game is due to be in stores by summer of 2006.

sounds really interesting, will keep an eye open for this one.
