I was writing a PM to someone and decided to SAVE it for later update.
The SAVE option doesn't appear to save what I wrote in my PM as when I went back to updte it only the heading and recipient entries were there.
Luckily I got the details from my browser history, but SAVE doesn't appear to work.

I just tested it by creating a PM to you then saving it and reopening then adding more text before sending. It worked fine - I even closed the browser before editing so I was working on a new session.

You sure you didn't have an oops? Can you reproduce it at all so we can investigate?

Hey what did you do, it works now. :D

Very odd, as I tried it 3 or 4 times to make sure.

Oh well

actually, I still have the 'draft' in my Saved/Unsent PMs folder.
When I update it and click SAVE, it doesn't save anything.

So I suppose, Yes, I can reproduce  ;) .

ah, so its the second save that causes probs, I'll go try that :)

double save worked but I've sent you another PM as well

Thulsa Doom

No, doesn't matter how many times I save it.
However, just tried to send it to you and get:

mySQL query error: UPDATE ibf_attachments SET attach_post_key='966bbd968f3870d88e24607fda827cee', attach_msg=8421 WHERE attach_msg=

mySQL error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1
mySQL error code:
Date: Tuesday 13th of December 2005 12:41:01 PM

It doesn't have the attach_mesg text in the statement.
I tried in IE, also the same.

Odd, must only be for that one PM as I've been able to save new ones since.

Thulsa has let me know that he has tried with a new copy of the original message sent to him and he is able to reply OK to it so it looks like a one off.

Obviously if anyone else experiences this we would appreciate knowing in case further investigation is needed. In the meantime it looks like a one-off phew!
