How to use & configure the Grid & Clique addons

just thought Id add that I found gridfastheal to cause huge problems.

Gridindicatoriconbar could possibly win the award for best newcomer to my setup, having 4-5 icons (moved mine to a line above the persons name). Means i can see who has Power word shield, Hot's and all my own healing buffs, diseases, poisons and curses + the original icon for raid debuffs.

Classtimer is a great addon to set up any DOT, HOT etc and very easy and with grid and clique i found it good specially since i just respecced for healing on second spec, but i use it as dps also really give ya a nice timed spells.
Edit: Forgot to say that no idea if it work with pally spell/buff etc but i think so.

Back on the grid addon, how can i make it show the mana bar of the raid members?

There's a plugin for it. Search on the curse addon for it, it's called something like GridStatusManaBar

I need help here - Rotface fight, dispel duty -
I was on dispel duty last night and while in the beginning it went pretty smooth, in the end it was damn messy. Now what i'm looking for are some suggestions on how to keep track of people on the grid interface while their name is covered by the debuff icon. I tried to change the raid marks settings, but i didn't have much time between the attempts, so i think i'll try to sort this out today.
Any hint/tip is welcome, and thanks for the help.

Answer is simple. I have extended the name characters to something like 7, so the icon never obliterates all of the name. In addition if you use 3 text lines not 2 then the name always shows anyway as the top line (name) is over the icon.

It is to be noted though that knowing the name is not necessary. You are watching a person marked with a raid icon running to the drop zone and dispelling a marked grid box, so you do not need to know the name.

With the 4.0 patch having totalled 3.xx and older versions of Grid & Clique, everyone should update to the 4.0 versions which can currently be found on Wowinterface.com. The Curse updater does not have these files at the moment and is still pointing you to 3.xx versions which will not work under the 4.xx WoW patches.

Are the complementary grid addons still working, are they now included in the 4.0 version or we'll just have to wait for the update?

Think most are updated now on Curse too now, so all is well with the world.
