right ive played FFXI and SWG both of which i adored but got bored of eventually.
i was just wondering which i should get next. the list goes:
WoW
RF online
DoD
Auto Assault

Have you considered City of Heroes/Villans at all? I've got various friends (admittedly all but one of them are graphic novel/comic book junkies) who rave about it.

I like WoW, I can play for an hour here and there and still enjoy the game. There are loads of dMw peeps and then the SoG guys if you fancy something more (ill leave that there, they might have there own sales pitch )

I think the single biggest benefit of WoW here is the members that are online.

There is 'always' someone on, making it more social.

I go for weeks not playing, then play for a week, solo'ing is ok for a while, and even now I still do now and then, but trying to pull too many mobs into a group of other dMw'rs is much more fun.

the game comunitie is to small and the game is frustrating because all the time qst are not able to be completed because evrything is blown up and you need to wait 15 min till it slowly respawns. i played it on sgool of a friends acound. he only got it because he got it free for a revieuw for a website.

grafisch score = 8
game play = 7
game experianse = a 4,3

dont go for this 1

well im a WoW player but facs are most magazines gave it a 9+ score. and it won a lot of awards. this is ofcourse not for nothing.

never played it. but hear mixed comments some realy like it ather realy dont. should make your own mind about this 1

didt manages to play it yet. but grafisch are so nice! downsite is that the main world is small but the instances are great fun i hear would like to play this 1 my self some day but scarred i will neglet wow if i do that


but my mmo's hint is always. try it ones. if it feels right the first time you played it. its your game. if not. go try and play a ather. if you have friends with accounds ask if you can try it for a day ore our ore so.

.....might just be that the quality of the video sucks.  Most are massively reduced in quality to compress the size of the file for download and it of course assumes that the original PC's settings were turned up to the gfx max which most aren't.  GIGO etc.

The one thing that most reviews commented on when WoW came out was how good the graphics were, so I suspect the videos may not give you the right impression.  Why not try to get around to a friend who has both a good system and WoW and then take a look with the settings turned up to the max?

Possibly some clarification on what Soulless meant by the gaphics sucking would be in order? I took it to mean 'the models aren't nearly as high poly as any of the other current-gen MMOs out there, and it doesn't look nearly as realistic'. Personally, I like Blizzard's style, and like that they've managed to make a game that I think looks damn fine run on much lower spec hardware by not needlessly having high poly models, bump mapping everywhere, photo realistic textures etc. I'd say WoW looks better that, say Everyquest 2, but equally it is less technologically advanced. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

hmmm ill probably get wow cos i have loads of friends that play it dunno :S my next game is gonna be LOTR: BFME2 so i have another month or so to decide
