MC Speed Run - The Final Episode

Do we fancy doing an MC speed run to try to break the World Record?

If eveyrone is up for it then it might be a nice way to start the raid year off. Plus, it's going to be the last time we'll get a chance to do something like this for a while I am guessing - and certainly the last time as a true L60 only raid group.

I would like to request an hour of trial run in MC to get as far in as Magmadar. I need to make sure that the planned Magmadar pull works post patch and that the people who will be doing it understand what they need to do. This might need ot be on a normal raid night or it could be tied in with a Commanders MC night, but it would be quicker with the RG1 or RG2 group.

This trial run of the Magmadar pull will need to be the week before the actual speed run for obvious reasons.

Is permission granted and what's your preference?

I would like to request the 8th & 11th January for the 2 MC runs (a short praccie and the speed run itself on 11th January).

Am I ok to announce those days (11th is a Thursday, the 8th is a Monday).

Final episode may end prematurely, we don't have enough signed up. I'm doing the maths and seeing who I can chase up, but I am not going to waste my whole day chasing up slackers. I'll post later.

Aye, I got 4 from Genesis (Torir & Padding are on the sign up site, the other two not), but that will not be enough to fill the gap for the lack of priests & mages etc. I have approved everyone I could conceivably use on the run and the ones from Genesis who can make it. Below that we're down to using Soldiers with Blue/Green gear and frankly I don't fancy wasting 200G on respecs and flasks to give them a first run through MC (no direspect to them, but......)

If we dont have tier 1-2 geared all the way its not possible to complete the run within 1 hour imo.
