Cool. I must say that there was a potatoegun in the NL aswell which got banned.  
Some accidents seemed to happen with it and it was to distructive as it wasn't under the fire-arms law.

I've built one of those, but that fires oranges, more fun as they make a massive mess everywhere. Well easy to make, cost about £3 for some tubing from wickes. Best fun ever...

Go down to wickes, buy an igniter, a length of tubing, a tubing two ended junction with a  screw cap, and a tube of PVC pipe weld. (It's a glue type thing). Use a really good measure of it every time you apply it.

The tubing is of a narrower diameter, and screws into the junction. Add a good measure of pipe weld to the screw teeth so that it welds the whole thing together. Make a hole in the cap, and fix the igniter into that, leaving only the button protruding, using the pipeweld again to weld it in. Make sure that there are no gaps and there is no play or movement from the igniter.

Then drop in the projectile from the muzzle, then holding it at at least a 45 degree angle to the ground, spray in a load of hair spray/deodorant and quickly screw on the cap containing the ingiter.

Then point in a safe direction and hit the igniter button. Boom!
