RG2 Leadership Roles

The Officers currently lead all RG2 raids with the aim of passing on the experience and tactics necessary to enable RG2 to advance rapidly within both MC and OL.  To date this approach has worked very well and success for RG2 has been extremely rapid.

The Officers now believe that we are approaching a stage where RG2 needs to start to develop its own Raid Leaders and with this in mind would be pleased to hear from any RG2 member who wants to investigate the possibility of becoming more involved in leading RG2 raids.  Training and assistance will be available as necessary.

RG2 will need several leaders, both for the raid group itself and also for each class.  Those leaders will need to develop an excellent knowledge of how their class contributes to the raid success and their roles in each individual Boss and trash mob fight.  In addition, those wanting to get involved with leading RG2 itself will need to develop a thorough understanding of all instance Boss fights, the roles of all classes in each Boss fight, raid class balance, how to structure parties for best buff/aura balance etc and how best to dispatch trash mobs.  Those interested in the Raid Leader role in pacticular should be able to use Teamspeak well as verbal communication skills are a must for successful raiding.  

Those interested should send a PM to Teaelle as soon as possible, noting whether you are interested in taking on a 'class leader' role or a 'raid leader' role.  The Officers will then contact all applicants privately to discuss matters in more detail.

We've had applicants for Mage, Hunter, Pallie & Rogue Class Leaders for RG2, but as yet nobody has stepped forward for either the remaining classes or for the Raid Leader positions.  Please may I encourage anyone interested to send me a PM ASAP, otherwise we may just have to start appointing people :norty:

As you may have noticed last night we're now starting work on these, but have not yet reached any decisions.

There are some classes we have not yet had any applications from (I think a Warrior whispered me last night) and I would encourage people to apply to help out your Raid Group and apply for the role.
