New Raid Flexibility Announced!

Well I got my DS-leggings last run in MC before my vacation so iam up to swap to RG2 MC-run

.

The only thing i lack though is Ony necklace though but i can pick that up whenever so NP;) And for the DKP isnt it just that I get DKP for RG1 and the player i swapped with gain DKP as it where RG2? :blush: (havent read all posts!)

So TL Now u have atleast 1!

i'd like very much to swap my lock place with some1 else from RG2 since i have ALL what i want from MC except the reputation (useless) but i can't help cuz i can't attend on monday RG2 as required... so sry but monday night is GF night.
btw i saw some ppl from thursday swap who did not attend on monday night and got the DKP from both the raids, if it's fine for u i can swap every thursday let me know.

Well we've asked in Raid chat each time and only had one or maybe two responses. We're looking for 8 (one per class). We cannot make anything happen as it needs people to agree to raid Thursday/Monday instead of Thursday. Maybe some form of compulsion would work, but I am not sure that this would be an acceptable way forward to members.

Thanks for the offer Ash, we may well take you up on it! For clarification:

Anyone swapping from RG1 to RG2 should get DKP for RG1 only.
Anyone swapping from RG2 to RG1 should get DKP for RG2 only.

If anyone got DKP for both then please let us know and we will amend it.

If someone swaps to RG2 and does not turn up for Monday then clearly we will have an issue. This is something the Officers are aware of and currently treating on a 'trust' basis.

Oke agree with that fully but today some RG1 members joined RG2 cause RG1 couldn't get the peeps to make their raid, so there was no dkp exept for the raid attendence so my guess was that RG1 members would get some dkp at least. But i was wrong there. In these situations the RG1 members help the RG2 members out and they get absolutly nothing in return exept the repair bill. Not very stimulating if you ask me.

As RG1 did not run and the people were not swapping then DKP was awarded for those on the RG2 run last night as it was not a swap, it was an MC run. Hopefully this is more stimulating for you and a helpful correction.

I think your missing my point Teaelle, what i was meaning to say is why didn't the RG1 members who joined yesterday get any dkp at all for the effort of joining? maybe i'm dragging here but i don't see the stimulating part here in this situation.

Btw its not the the dkp i'm bothered with but i'm trying to see the stimulating part here to help RG2 out when RG1 isn't raiding. :dummy:

Where's the stimulating part of helping a fellow guildie with a Strat run, or a Jailbreak or any other raid or quest?

No I think it is the DKP you *are* worried about, but let me stimulate you. Apart from the honour of helping your fellow Guildies (which ought to be enough) if you were in the RG2 raid you get DKP for that raid as RG1 did not run at all. I.e. it was not a normal night swap where an RG1 member gets RG1 DKP even when they are in RG2. RG1 did not raid, so *the* raid was RG2 and all participants (including RG1 members and Soldiers) should get DKP for that raid.

About now you should be about to pass out due to over stimulation. I recommend a cold bath :narnar:

So i was right then the RG1 members didn't get dkp yesterday and hell yeah i took a cold bath but i noticed something was getting very small so jumped out again

DKP received by RG1 members who did not go to MC with RG2 is different to the DKP given to RG1 members who did go to MC with RG2.

This DKP matter has been posted to Officer chat as we have a slight variation in interpretation of what was agreed by Officers last night. Watch this space.
