1.11 ZG Enchant items

what do you guys think about how the drops from bloodlord and hexxer for the enchant quest should be distributed?

from screenshots ive seen, the item drop will be class independant, i.e. one item covers all classes, and it will drop one from bloodlord, and one from hexxer every time.

personally, i dont believe rolling on it is truely a fair way to do it, as im guessing only two enchant quest items will drop per run, and sods law says that the people that have been there the most wont win the roll ever (think heart of hakkar, except everyone needs two - currently we even have an alt runnign around with the heart of hakkar trinket.)

how about a dkp like system based on attendance?
or perhaps rather than attendance, use the number of ZG raids they have signed up for to work it out, wouldnt take more than 5 mins to adapt the signup site to display this info right now.

one thing for sure, i dont think it would be fair if people had their 2nd enchant item before others had even gotten their first... although if we have a rule like this, then any time a new person joins the raid for the first time and everyone else has the first piece, them the first timer would get first priority on the drop, which i wouldnt say is fair either.... perhaps limit to one enchant quest item per two weeks or something...

Still thinking, but whatever is done needs to e low on administrative overhead.  You want to spend time raiding not trying to maintain lists to work out who is eligible to get what if we use to convoluted a system.  I'll ponder some more.

You could do this, but consider that RG2 is unable to maintain a high attendance in ZG due to half the runs beeing on monday. Also how would you work it out w/ the non signup fryday and saterday raid(s)?

We know about the mondays. And about the saturday raids we decided to make those permanent so we start a sign up fpr them soon also.
Mene i agree with you on the matter that we should have some priority list there. You said you can easy adapt the signup system to display that info? But what exactly would be displayed and how do we treat members that where in queue the whole time and where online (on their main or alt).

To prevent first timers from getting their items you maybe could say you need to be there for an x amount of runs (for example x=3). And if you have 0 enchants and have been there the desired runs you have priority over ppl who have 1 enchant.

The Padmesiter agrees that a system should be implemented to secure the loot first goes to the people actually doing the work in ZG, but he doesnt how yet. He will think about it some more, and come to a conclusion soon

And i agree with you luna, 1st enchants should have pri over people with second ones.. and what about alts ? Mains pri or ??

i have exams starting in a week real life stuff is really piling up atm... speaking of which, i need to go make a presentation to IBM soon...

Bastet, about RG2 not being able to attend as much - we're talking about maybe getting an RG2 member to lead runs on tuesdays, that way RG1 and RG2 would all have equal number of opportunity to 20 man raid each week.
