Must say i look forward to this one. Love the warhammer universe.

And then the next warhammer game should be an action/rpg/pvp-type based on "inquisitor"..!!

Is it just me, or does the screenies from Warhammer almost look like they were taken in WoW?

I think more that WoW took alot of inspiration from the Warhammer universe. It IS a universe that has been around and developed for 25 years or so. <_<

Then again.. there are pretty much always similarities in different fantasy universes. :happy:

But i think that Warhammer is more sinister, and WoW is more cartoonish..

I'd agree about the sinister/cartoonish thing.

And it does annoy me when people see Warhammer and go 'it's just a WoW ripoff'. Argh! Warhammer was around before WoW was even born or thought of! It took a lot of ideas from stuff like Lord of the Rings, and then Warcraft (and later WoW) took a lot of ideas from the Warhammer universe that was already then developed.

I'm not saying that it's a ripoff, I'm just saying the graphics looks a lot alike. And u can't say that WoW stole the graphics. After all, it's here before the other one.

Fair enough, but from what i've seen of Warhammer screenies and a video I saw of it it's actually a lot more 'realistic' looking that the cartoonish looks of WoW. But it's bound to look similar cos there's only so much you can do when your description of, say, dwarves is 'short, squat, muscular, big beards'.
