He asked me about his DKP wipe the other day and suggested that rejoiners get a certain % deducted as they join again, instead of takin it all away.
I can agree to this as most ppl that rejoin have put an effort in at an earlier stage in our raiding progress.

What do the rest of you think?

I could agree in some sense, but not in all cases since that could be seen as we are rewarding people for coming back

On the other hand i think ashjens reasons where somewhat ok, and in his case i wouldnt mind

Ragnarh

Rule was made to scare ppl from dooing /gquit all the time.
Has it ever ben used ?

The rule is there.

Bastet

its been used before several times, and i agree w/ it beeing there, they choose to leave, so they shouldnt be suprised there are some consiqenses for it.

I believe the rule is there for a reason.  But maybe we could consider a revision - although the revision I have in mind requires some administration which I am not sure we could handle.

The absolute rule is a problem because it is absolute.  However I support it over hacving no rule.

The revision we could consider is a DKP decay over time.  Say 25% per month so that someone leaving an coming back in month 2 gets 75% of their DKP, someone returning within the month still has 100% DKP.

A revision might work when we consider that we only let those back in that we are happy to accept.  I'm just not sure we could accurately administer it.

That sounds good to me TL and i also agree to that system might be a bit much to admin for us atm.

Just so you know. Ashjen and a few others are not too happy about Dillinja keeping his DKP while the rest lost theirs.

DOH. Who would be. We should impose equal DKP rights for all including whoever left the guild and come back

Lets either give ALL the people their DKP back (or a certain %) or drop all the their DKP as they left the guild.

KreuZ

It's the last option, and I always have.. Sometimes it's just abit hard to follow about the people that quit and rejoin.

Has it been corrected now then?
