I decided that enough is enough. Screw the damn Stormrage legguards, I'm going feral. Most of RG1 apparently don't think Druids need the stormrage set anyways. So I will stay feral intill Stormrage should drop one day, or maybe when Dreamwalker starts showing up.

Gratz Vargen.  I look forward to welcoming you back to Resto on Friday

....as I have done several times before

Does this mean you'll pass Stormrage Legguards to me the next time they drop :dribble:

I don't think I'll follow your example - at least not quite yet.  I'm a happy druid who likes to heal folks and get them better, not hurt folks and kill 'em ;)
But it's gonna be exciting to see how that new build of yours is going to work out, that's for shure!

Bdw, I see you're going "the whole way" with this, with new signature and everything ;)

You got Innervate as from tomorrow so you didnt lost that spell ;)
Ow yeah, one remark on your build. Wouldnt it be wise to take imp MotW seeing as that buff is 90% activated?

That's not really needed, since Vargen can just supply us druids who have imp. MotW with the reagent, and we'll do the buffing for him as well :)

I won't waste 5 talentpoints on getting 5 more to all stats on that buff. I rather have Omen of clarity.

And I will gp back to resto; but not before I get those damn legguards.

After more or less a week of my new spec I have pretty much found that I don't use the stuff I put talents on in the Balance tree. So I played around a bit with the talent calculator once again and came up with some alternatives where I could actually combine Feral and Resto in a good way.

Feral/Resto with imp Rejuv
or
Feral/Resto with mana conservation

Both these builds will give 20% extra intelect from the Heart of the Wild talent, but it will also give me nature's swiftness and the 15% manaregen while casting. With stormrage 5 part set bonus that would mean 30% manaregen while casting. It's not the best build for a pure healer I admit, but it gives me the option to play around a bit and keep the feral aspect of my character. Now that Innervate is a trainable spell I don't really see the need for having 31 talents in Resto. Though Swiftmend might be well worth it, I like being able to actually use my shapeshift bar  ;)

Slowly hes starting on the track back to full resto, give him another week :P
Aszune (Alliance):
Sokhar lv 80 (H/M) Warrior, Sokhár lv 80 (H/M) Death Knight, Beset lv 70 (NE/F) Druid, Bastet lv 70 (NE/F) Rogue, Mentu lv 70 (Dr/M) Shaman
-=[dMw]=-Bastet (CSS) / -=[dMw]=-Niwa (BF2) / -=dMw=- Sokhar (BF2142)
-=[dMw]=- MVP Award Holder (June 2006) Winning team -=[dMw]=- Christmas Crunch (2008)

I'd prefer tranquil spirit over improved rejuvenation, because imp rejuv only effects the base amount of healing (it's calculated before +healing). So the talent becomes less usefull if you get more +healing gear. Although it'll still be a over 100 +healing for rank 10 and 11. It'll depends on you healing style what's more usefull.

Personally i'm running around with this build: http://www.wowhead.com/talent/?MZxMtscMdxVxsoxo (30 feral / 21 restro). (I was considering going 14 balance / 32 feral / 5 resto, but after preventing a couple of wipes due to NS I decided not to). Because of the 20% int from heart of the wild instead of 10% +healing from gift of nature I'm able to heal more in fights that last under +/- 3 minutes, but slightly less in boss fights. Gift of nature only adds a unimpressive amount of 40.4 +healing for HT rank 4 anyway (the spell you're mostly using). And I'm able to tank pretty effectively aswell.

Looking at your build, you seem to lean more towards cat then bear. I've never really been able to use cat form in instances so far, because they mostly expect you to heal (or tank if you're lucky). I can imagine it'll do a decent amount of DPS (tigers fury + 2x shred).

Vargen

Atm in cat I manage to keep up with tier 1 mages and locks on single targets, but not much more then that. I used to have some talents in bear but I find I tank just as well with my current spec, and my crits in bear are 1k atm.

I thought it over, and considering it's Nefarian tonight and I really don't want to respec any more times as the next one will cost me 50g, I changed the rather useless points I had in Balance over to the Resto tree. Removing the 31st Feral point in exchange for Nature's swiftness.

TADA!
The ultimate Druid Build

This way I can keep doing pussy without really nerfing much on the healing part.  :)
