I watched the replay today, several times, to see for myself what all the kerfuffle was about ref. 1: Arbarb (watch laps 7-9) and 2: The projectile dummy spat by Delankster.(Laps 24-5)
I have watched this with as much objectivity as I can muster and I have to say that in the case of 1 the kicking was not justified. True, after an off of his own making, he DID rejoin the track in a way that impeded Oldie, but it looked to me a case of regaining control rather that anything mischievous. the next time anything untoward happened was the coming together with Verner on the home straight end of lap 7. this was a 50-50 rub from which both  cars recovered.   In fact he made, you must admit, a very good overtake on Verner approaching T1, lap 9. There was no other incident until he was kicked whilst leading Verner up the back straight. I have watched this replay several times from all three cars (OB's, Vobz and Arbarb's and come to the same conclusion every time. Feel free to argue the case.

As far as Delankster's pique, that was caused wholely by his own impatience. Up until he went off he was in no position to pass Mille. I think he still retains a ''you must throw yourself into the hedge when you get a blue flag'' outlook. Mille was, in my opnion, in no way at fault. Interestingly, after Kevin took to the hills, he eased off as soon as he saw it. Leading me to believe that he was aware of Kevin's position at all times.

I now declare the court open.

Ooo, I forgot; HERE is the replay if you haven't got it.

Couldnt agree more. Self-inflicted wound. Kev made an error coming over the hill and lost it plain & simple. His concentration may have been disturbed by Mille but in no way was Mille to blame. I think Kev took his frustration out the nearest racer -Mille Sabords.

From his recent post I see he's come to the same conclusion :-)

About the first one: Bit harsh to kick the guy out. Although he tryed to push between Verner and the wall, I think that was some what racing incident as he had more speed into the situation and he kind of got squeezed into the wall. Bit rough racing though and I wouldn't have tryed to overtake on the right. The out of track and back to track thing. He did come back to track in quite dangerous way. Hard to say how much of that is to blame the driver and how much to blame the slicks which very much just side on grass. I would have just told him to watch it and be more careful. Especially as he didn't cause any accident with it (iirc). But it is easy to say afterwards.

The other thing. The exact spot where Delankster went out is because of his own error (I have topped over the same spot when turned too early). But if I had been Mille Sabords I would have let Del past e.g. in some corner (like the last corner hairpin) by making the corner wide on purpose. Why this? Well speedwise they seemed quite equal and overtaking can be quite stressful when equally fast. You have to follow close behind and driving that way can easily cause accidents as the risks get higher. So if the other person doesn't give room clearly or lift the throttle it is not so easy. Besides the overlapping driver might not even know he is overlapping and he might be ready to take risks which would be unnecessary. Because of the problems I have had overtaking I have started to give more room when I've been overlapped. I don't mean he would have needed to drive into woods, but sometimes people could give little more help.

Generally...I don't like punishing people just because they did wrong. We all make mistakes. The key idea is did he do it on purpose. At least that's the way I want to think. Back when I kept my own server sometimes, I warned people first, before using the kick and ban buttons if they didn't learn from it.
